New York based event designer Lindsay Landman has been producing innovative weddings and special events in New York and around the globe since 2001. Her company, Lindsay Landman Events, has been a market leader in the unique integration of event planning, design, and production, initiated by Lindsay’s trademark focus on the intersection of beauty and brains, form and function.
Since 2014, Lindsay has been a leading instructor and course director for the Event Leadership Institute (ELI), educating hundreds of students in the fields of Event Planning and Event Design. Through her work as an ELI instructor, Lindsay writes, develops and teaches 9-week credentialed courses both in-person and online and mentors young talent in the event industry. In addition, Lindsay is a sought-after event industry speaker who has addressed elite audiences on the topics of Event Design, Wedding Planning, Leadership, and Branding.
As a go-to media resource, Lindsay has provided insight on weddings, design, etiquette and entertaining for dozens of publications including The New York Times, InStyle, BRIDES, The Knot, Refinery 29, New York Magazine, Style Me Pretty and Harper’sBAZAAR. Lindsay Landman Events was a recipient of the International Special Events Society 2015 Big Apple Award and is a long-time recipient of The Knot’s “Best Of” Wedding Planner designation. In 2016, VOGUE Magazine selected Lindsay Landman Events as one of the “best planners in the world” and Harper’sBAZAAR included Lindsay Landman Events in their Little Black Book of the country’s best planners.
Lindsay earned her B.A. in English from the University of Pennsylvania and, in addition to more than a decade of event design coursework, has studied interior design at the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York. Beyond her role as President and Creative Director of Lindsay Landman Events, she was the Founding President of Wish Upon a Wedding New York and served as the National Event Chair for the organization.
Lindsay resides in New York City with her husband Mark and sons Charlie and Max.
