Harmony Walton is the creator and founder of The Bridal Bar®, a complimentary wedding resource library with locations in Los Angeles and San Diego. A graduate of UCLA, she got her start on the bridal scene as a contributing editor for a national bridal magazine. It was then she realized the luxury wedding market was lacking something special – a place where brides and exceptional event professionals could gather, learn, be inspired and connect. So at the age of twenty-four she developed The Bridal Bar, a one-stop wedding shop where concepts come to life with the convenience of one central location, in an inviting atmosphere where some of the best in the bridal business are represented. Couples are encouraged to lounge on a couch, sip complimentary champagne, and experience works and samples of highly vetted event professionals with the assistance of a Bridal Bar expert to guide them. As Daily Candy, Town & Country Weddings, Us Weekly, and many others have reviewed, “The Bridal Bar reps only the best, so brides know they are getting the best.” – Star Magazine
It wasn’t long after launch that The Bridal Bar became the go-to Hollywood wedding resource with a client list that read like an awards show roster: Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes; Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley; Will and Jada Pinkett Smith; and Kendra Wilkinson and Hank Baskett, among many others. Harmony and her team have had the privilege of helping to bring to life the wedding dreams of some of the most creative and innovative people in the world. Thanks to its success, The Bridal Bar has been featured in over 100+ media outlets, including Access Hollywood, Entertainment Tonight, The New Yorker, The Associated Press, The Los Angeles Times, InStyle Weddings, Town and Country Weddings, and People Magazine. Harmony is also a contributing writer to a handful of national and regional bridal magazines, and is the previous editorial director and senior producer for a national wedding television show.
In 2010, The Bridal Bar brand diversified into the home goods and registry market under the division of Bridal Bar Home by Jennifer Adams. This venture consists of a collection of luxury bed linens for the discerning wedding guests and newlyweds, a brand that now takes couples beyond just the wedding and back to bed. Most recently, Harmony launched destination wedding style blog JetFeteblog.com—a happy marriage of luxury getaway and inspired wedding events.
