Our 19thEngage! event brought us for the first time to spectacular Sea Island Resort on the southeast coast of Georgia. Ooozing with authentic Southern Charm and decked to the nines for the upcoming holidays, Sea Island extended gracious and warm hospitality to 350 leading luxury wedding and special event professionals from around the world.
The nature infused color palette of grayed jade and soft seaglass tones, warm peach and rose gold metallics was inspired by the destination and was artfully woven throughout every aspect of the event.
Attendees were delighted to be welcomed to the event within an interactive Pop-Up Boutiquerie filled with many locally sourced gifting items and essentials to enhance their Engage! experience. Long-time Sea Island creative partners The Vine, Beachview Event Rentals and Party Tables Linens worked their combined magic to elevate the design and décor throughout the entire event, showcasing their broad range of talents.
Playful and fun themes for various parts of the event included a “Bubbles” Champagne break, a supper under the stars at Sea Island’s own Rainbow Island, complete with country line dancing. A surprise prohibition after party kept attendees dancing until the wee hours to a trio of dueling DJ’s with Elan Artists unique spin on a silent disco.
Over 45 leading speakers informed and inspired at every turn through general sessions and smaller format interactive sessions. A surprise “Classic Coca-Cola Christmas” break delighted guests with a visit from Santa and Mrs. Claus and vintage clad singers.
Hearty southern fare was enjoyed by all through lavish breakfasts in the impressive Sea Island lobby to luncheons under the tented terrace.
The breathtaking final Gala saw the ballroom transformed into a live oak, spanish moss draped fantasy complete with cutting edge lighting and video mapping, a 30 piece gospel choir welcome, thousands of glass enclosed candles and electric performance artists, singers and dancers who wowe’d the discerning crowd from beginning to electric end.
