Returning for the 5th time to the breathtaking Cayman Islands, Engage!17 took over the brand new Kimpton Seafire Resort, the first resort for Kimpton outside the US. Inspired by “All the Colors” of Cayman (and summer!), the creative dream team led by Rishi Patel of HMR Designs set out to create a fun kick off to the season and celebrate the vibrant colors of this Caribbean paradise. The overall vibe for the event was identified as “Modern, Eclectic Caribbean.”

Attendees were welcomed in high style to the Presidential Suite of the Seafire on the 10th floor with sweeping views of Seven Mile Beach and the resort below for the “Pop-Up Shop at the Top” curated by Gifts for the Good Life and official registration where they selected “All the Swag”, checked out colorful attendee books and itineraries created TPD Design House and met Team Engage!.

A vibrant color-blocked room with custom linen and chair covers from Nuage Designs greeted guests for the Opening Session while event founders Rebecca Grinnals and Kathryn Arce warmly welcomed everyone to the 20th Engage! Summit event since 2008. Speakers included David Stark, Austin Kleon, Dallas Shaw, Wombi Rose and editors from VOGUE shared unique perspectives and tangible business takeaways. The culinary team at Kimpton Seafire served up fresh island fare under an ombre collection of colorful Raj Tents for rainbow imbued afternoon and morning breaks.

The welcome party on the beach had a distinctive barefoot Coachella inspired feel as edgy performers from Elan Artists provided immersive entertainment that went late into the night with a lively, eclectic after party in Ave lounge.

After a morning filled with business advice and inspiration from a variety of top names in the wedding and event industry attendees spent the afternoon experiencing one of the top attractions in the Cayman Islands, swimming with the Stingrays and sailing on the crystal clear Caribbean sea! A dine around in Grand Cayman’s finest restaurants was followed by a poolside “Mermaid Glam” dessert party, complete with world famous live mermaids straight from Dubai!

The ballroom was totally transformed into a colorful place to party for the final night Gala which included a surprise performance from 90’s superstars En Vogue to cap off “All the Fun” in the sun, sea and sand of the Cayman Islands.
