Soon thereafter she extended her expertise into other lifestyle services.

A trendsetter and leader in the wedding industry, Michelle has helped to change the narrative of elevated event style in the South. She has designed events around the globe that always include a bit of Modern Southern Hospitality. It’s her secret sauce. Every event is beautiful, but the heart behind them is their distinguishing factor–that essence of hospitality that allows guests to feel welcome, seen, loved, and included. This purpose led approach to designing and planning events fuels Michelle’s passion to create rooms filled with meaningful details and shape awe-inspiring moments that will be remembered for a lifetime.
From weddings and anniversaries to birthdays and beyond, Michelle invests time to learn her client’s personalities in order to produce unique events that are a creative reflection of each individual client.
In 2009, Michelle’s vision for streamlining the wedding planning process came to fruition with the opening of StudioWed Atlanta. The studio represented a collection of the city’s finest wedding and special event vendors all in one location. Michelle successfully sold StudioWed in 2018.
Society 414 launched in 2014 as the cure for the common date night, an idea founded by Michelle and her husband Dewayne. Society 414 curates a unique fun night out experience for the couple who wants to do something different, taking the hassle factor out of planning it themselves.
After receiving countless mentorship requests, Michelle founded the Creative Business Circle in 2019 to help other creative business owners feel empowered and capable, and to thrive in their dream business and best life.
In 2020 with the dramatic challenges from the global pandemic that forced all large
gatherings to stop in the event industry, Michelle pivoted with the launch of Lemiga Celebrations at Home, offering socially distanced and intimate fêtes full of custom style and meaningful details.
