Corbin Gurkin

Corbin formed her career as a destination wedding photographer over a progression of many years, including time spent living overseas in Italy. After an initial focus on painting and drawing, she fell in love with photography during a summer at the Maine Photographic Workshops and went on to study photography at New York University’s prestigious Tisch School of the Arts.

Driven by kindness in collaboration, Corbin has photographed weddings in places as diverse as California’s wine country, the striking beaches of Thailand, beloved Provence, country estates in Ireland, and the hillside villages of Tuscany. Her niche is effortless imagery that evokes genuine feeling over forced poses. Corbin’s work has been regularly featured in Martha Stewart Weddings, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue and Town & Country, and she’s captured a place time and time again on “The Lists”. Corbin brings a keen eye for styling and detail to her work, making her one of the most sought after editorial style wedding photographers in the industry. True to her wanderlust spirit, Corbin shares her time between Charleston, South Carolina, Southern California, and New England with her husband and three-year-old son, Emerson.
