David DiCicco

Founder + Creative Director, DiCicco Design

David DiCicco has been a leading force in the Boston event industry since 2013. After several years in the financial world, he transitioned into event design and production to combine his corporate experience with his creative passions.

Using his background in sales and finance, David joined Marc Hall Design, where he helped produce one of a kind experiences throughout the Boston area, Cape Cod and New England. As event director, David was behind the design and execution of more than 500 events ranging from weddings, fundraising galas, holiday celebrations and intimate dinner parties.

A hallmark of his approach to planning and design is focusing on building long-lasting relationships with his clients that evolve beyond their initial engagement. For David, introducing the business component to his team’s creative process meant developing strategic systems to increase profitability and efficiency within in an often-unpredictable industry. David quickly discovered the importance of executing a high-end event and capturing client’s artistic desires all while pricing for profit. He finds the challenge inspiring and invigorating and one of the most motivating parts of his work.

Since launching his eponymous brand, the key to David’s business model is sourcing talent from throughout the Boston area and beyond to promote collaboration in an ever changing and diverse community.

David’s new company launched in late October, becoming Boston’s exclusive event concierge. Offering all services from planning, design and production, DiCicco Design is modeled to handle any event related task. If they aren’t producing it themselves, they partner with the expert that can. The end result – custom vendor curation for each and every event.
