Jove Meyer Events was born after Jove planned and designed his best friend’s wedding in the summer of 2008.  In the years since, The Knot has called him a Wedding Wizard and listed him as one of the top 100 wedding pros! US Weekly has named him a wedding guru, Brides has listed him as a top planner in America and BizBash has listed him as top 500 event pros in the country. Jove’s work has been featured in The New York Times, Vogue, Martha Stewart Weddings, Brides, Refinery29, Marie Claire, 100 Layer Cake, Ruffled and many more.

Jove and his team specialize in creating personalized weddings that are a reflection of each couple’s unique style, personality and relationship. Jove Meyer Events focuses on collaborating with owner driven and operated companies lead by women, LGBTQ+ people and or people of color.

Jove Meyer is the host of the popular podcast Weddings-ish with Jove! He is the creator of the “Totes Getting Married” tote bag and the founder of the NYC Planners Dining Club.

In addition to planning and designing Jove is a passionate advocate for marriage equality and inclusivity. He co-taught the first LGBTQ+ wedding webinar in partnership with The Knot in 2015 and speaks about attracting and working with LGBTQ+ couples worldwide on stages including The Knot Workshops, Engage Summits, Destination Wedding Planners Congress, Hustle and Flow, WIPA, ILEA and many more!
