Lisa Gooder

Executive Director, Brides Editorial

Lisa Gooder is the Executive Director of Brides Editorial.  Most recently she was Digital Director at Brides where she was responsible for all aspects of Brides’ digital presence including content development, product strategy, and social media. She has spent the last 18 years working for websites and loves the way online media is constantly changing. Lisa began her career in weddings in 1998 as one of the earliest employees of The Knot where she spent 10 years wearing many hats to help grow the business from its early startup days. Bitten by the entrepreneurial bug, she left to join another internet startup, Associated Content, which was later acquired by Yahoo. After having her second child, Lisa joined CaféMom, a website for moms. In 2011, Lisa joined Condé Nast to revamp Brides.com and grow its online audience. The site covers everything from expert planning tips and Bridal Fashion Week to George Clooney’s wedding and Lady Gaga’s engagement.
Lisa graduated from Brown University and lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children. Weddings encompass all her favorite things — design, fashion, flowers, paper, photography, and travel.
