Amanda Allen is the Founder of NewlyWish.com – an online wedding registry platform launched in 2010 and acquired by WeddingWire in 2015.

Amanda is the driving force behind NewlyWish, responsible for identifying, acquiring and maintaining merchant relationships and strategic partnerships, as well as managing merchandising efforts and day-to-day operations.

Prior to launching NewlyWish, Amanda worked for the Federal Reserve Bank of New York for seven years in the Bank Supervision Group.

Amanda earned her MBA from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Business, where she was named ‘Entrepreneur of the Year.’ Since jumping into the world of Entrepreneurship, she has won several other prestigious awards including 1st place in the Women 2.0 PITCH competition, Baruch College/Merrill Lynch Business Plan competition, and Pace University Pitch contest.

Amanda has been active in several charitable organizations, including serving on the Board of Directors of Wish Upon a Wedding New York. She and her husband Robard Williams live on the Upper East Side of Manhattan with their son, Leo.
