The daughter of an interior designer, Annie Lee is the principal planner and founder of Daughter of Design and author of Learn to Speak Wedding: Flashcards for Beginners. Lee is recognized as a “Love Guru” and “The Wedding Doctor” by Refinery29, “the wedding doyene” and expert by Brides Magazine, “The Party Planner” by New York Magazine Weddings, and “celebrity entertaining expert” by People Magazine. Daughter of Design has recently been listed as a “Top Planner” by Martha Stewart Weddings and has planned the 1st New Year’s Eve wedding in Times Square, 14 Valentine’s Day weddings atop the Empire State Building and the 2012 Fall Knot Gala at the New York Public Library. Annie believes “banquet” is a dirty word and is known and recognized for her contemporary and downtown approach to classic wedding traditions, always creating current and fresh designs. Annie is based in New York City but divides her time between there and her hometown of Los Angeles.
